2010 Utah State DeMolay Conclave

It's that time of year once again to start selling ads! Conclave is fast approaching and we are very excited to be back at the Ogden Marriott. This year it will be held the 15th, 16th, and 17th of October. Attached to this e-mail are the forms you will need to sell ads and register for Conclave 2010.  Take some time to review the materials as a few of the details are new or have changed. Also here are some notes that you need to look at in order to sell ads or to register.

1. The cost of Conclave this year for members, new initiates and sweethearts is $150.00, which includes two nights lodging (four people to a room), five meals and a T-shirt. The cost for Advisors will be $200.00, which includes two nights lodging (two people to a room), five meals and a T-shirt. 
2. This year those wishing to attend Conclave at no cost will need to raise double the amount of their registration cost. This means $300.00 for Demolay youth and $400.00 for Advisors.
3. It is crucial that all members wishing to attend Conclave have the Conclave Registration forms filled out and back to us no later than September 15th.  Please take the time to review all of the registration forms from your chapter and make sure they are completely filled out before sending them to us.  Also please let us know if there are any special dietary concerns that we need to be aware of such as a vegetarian opition for meals.  
4. Attached is an Ad Submission Form that must be legibly filled out for every ad that the boys sell.  This will ensure that the clients will receive the correct ad space and content as well as give credit to the individual that collects it.
5. All of the ads and ad Money are Due no later than September 30th! Which gives all of the Chapters 2 1/2 months to sell ads.  Please use this time wisely as there are plenty of ads out there for all boys to attend Conclave free of charge.  If your Chapter is having a difficult time selling ads, we are more than happy to meet with your boys and help them sell ads.  

Last year we had a little over 30 individuals attend Conclave last year, and over half of those attending were Advisors and/or Sweethearts.  We want to double that number this year by providing a realistic price as well as due notice.  If we have atleast 8-10 DeMolay, 2 Advisors, and 1 Sweetheart from every Chapter attend, we will have reached our goal but we need your help to do that.
